Overview

This is a book about the tragic loss of my 17 year old son Tyler in a rodeo accident in June 2000 and the aftermath of that loss that included grief, emptiness, heartbreak, and all that comes with tragedy. It is even more about Faith in Jesus Christ, Hope, Forgiveness, and Peace that only God's Grace can give. It is about Angels, many that appear as regular people with kind hearts.

The book is about an Oklahoma man with a family that consists of a wife of 20 years and three teenaged boys, that finally accepts Jesus Christ at 46 years of age. Then within nine months of his newfound Faith experiences the devastating loss of his middle son, Tyler, in a rodeo accident. The book begins with that tragic night, the accident, the chaotic scene, the hospital emergency room, the arrival of his family at the ER and the news of Tyler's death. The book book then tells a backstory of where the author was emotionally and spiritually the period before the accident and of what life events led the author to his newfound Faith in Jesus. The story continues with what their "new life" was like post Tyler and how they were carried by their community, friends, and unbending Faith in Jesus Christ. There are many stories of angels, spiritual in form and actual in the form of regular people with kind hearts. This is ultimately a story of Faith in Action.
